Condition: Very good, with shelf wear and slight creasing to cover.
1st Edition.
I have read most of the books on the Great Escape from Stalag Luft III and I have to say this is a fantastic addition.
Very well written book which follows the story of Wg Cdr Day from his flying missions at the start of the war, being shot down and captured, being the senior British officer in Stalag Luft III, helping organise the Great Escape and his numerous escape attempts, being captured and held in a concentration camp and avoiding execution by the SS and his journey through the alps to the Allied Lines to get help.
It is a true page turner and I could not put it down. Highly recommended.
