This book offers comprehensive reviews and brief design histories of worldwide flying boats of the WW II era. I especially liked that it included countries for which one usually doesn't find information such as France, Italy, and even three planes from the Soviet Union. I thought the coverage of French flying boats was the best I have found so far. The major users of flying boats, such as the US, Britain, Germany, and Japan, are all included.
Although black and white photos are provided for every airplane, they are tiny. Tabulations of dimensions, armaments, and performance characteristics are provided.
