Facsimile four-colour reproductions of the plates published between 1890 and 1914 by Max Babenzien in Rathenow. The 50 colour plates are printed on cream card in their original size (170-250 mm) and inserted in an artificial linen portfolio (a reproduction of the original portfolio). An English and French translation of the artist's explanatory comments is on the back of the plate. Knotel's original aim was to present uniforms which were rare collector's items.
