The "In Action" series of books boast multiple period photo's with commentary, colour drawings and profiles, profile plans of the various versions, a concise historical analysis of their development & introduction to service, detailed close up illustrations of hard to see areas, concentrating upon differences between versions. Specifications are included, as are lovely full colour profiles of aircraft under differing camouflage & markings and colour drawings of the aircraft in theatre. They have been designed specifically with the scale aircraft modeller in mind and as such they provide a tremendous reference in a compact, inexpensive form.
