THE SUCCESSION OF COLONELS OF THE BRITISH ARMY FROM 1660 TO THE PRESENT DAY. The lists are divided into Cavalry with their 1922 amalgamations, and Infantry. These are again divided into the first 25 Regiments of Line not affected by the 1881 amalgamations and the regiments numbered from 26 to 109 which are shown individually up to 1881, and then listed under their familiar county titles.
