Bound with THE STORY OF THE INDIAN MUTINY. An unusual volume 'Printed for The Booksellers' in London in 1880. It is the full story of the mutiny on HMS Bounty in 1789, followed by accounts of seven mutinies in Highland Regiments of the British Army between 1743 and 1795. There is then a bound in, but separate 224 page book, recounting the Indian Mutiny 1857-58. The whole volume is bound in embossed, decorative brown leather with an attractive raised coloured floral emblem on the front board. There is light foxing and slight water staining internally, but all text is good and the binding is tight.
