Written by my late Uncle and later published by his wife my late Aunt who completed the task after his death in Nov 1970. A remarkable story of which much was sadly left out at the publishers behest and alas the unused work was lost when my Aunt passed away herself in 1989.
As with many of his kind he remained modest about his remarkable achievements in studying flight medicine much of it flying with the less confident crews which still brought him and his comrades back home safe for over 3 tours during the raids over nazi Germany during WWII. A quiet tribute to all those who flew in the face of terrifying odds to preserve our freedom and in this 100th year of the RAF a true reflection of the moto, 'Through Adversity to the Stars.'
