Published for the benefit of the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, this volume looks at the state of the Royal Air Force in 1938, the year of the Munich crisis. All aspects of the RAF are covered, from aircraft to distinctive badges, competitions and the various reserve elements. Also covered are the Fleet Air Arm and those air forces of the countries and colonies within the British Empire. A small colour section illustrates the markings applied to aircraft by other nations.
