Foreword by Air Vice-Marshal Sir Geoffrey Bromet KBE CB DSO DL
Autobiography of a British aviation pioneer who obtained his pilot's license in 1913, flew throughout WW I for the Royal Navy, and fought again in WW II. He held an active pilot's license for nearly 50 years. Between wars he was an actor, airman, lecturer, salesman, counter-espionage agent for M.I.5, and just for fun he flew under the Tower Bridge in 1931. In 1953 at the age of 61 he flew under 15 bridges between Waterloo and Kew.
