The story of Grumman Aircraft, from 1930 to the present. From the first FF-1 bi-plane fighters for the US Navy to the Apollo Lunar lander and the radical forward swept wing
X-29. Notable WWII Grumman aircraft included the F4F Wildcat and F6F Hellcat fighters which provided the mainstay of USN carrier operations in the Pacific War, the TBM Avenger torpedo bomber and others. Post WWII the F9F Panther gave sterling sevice in Korea whilst the A-6 Intruder commanded night and bad weather ops in Vietnam. The E-2C Hawkeye, EA-6B Prowler and F-14 Tomcat have continued the Grumman line of excellent naval combat aircraft.
