On the death of Fritz Todt, Hitler's architect, Albert Speer became, responsible for the raw materials, supply and manpower for the German war machine. In this capacity he was responsible for the conscripted foreign labour within the Third Reich. He was the only defendant at Nuremburg to plead guilty and was sentenced to twenty years. This book is shaped from the diaries, notes and letters, sometimes smuggled out of Spandau, during those twenty years. Signs of use. Dustjacket has faded spine and shelfwear. Boards and text Good
