Condition: Good, with handling/shelf wear and some staining on the rear cover.

1st Edition.

For an aircraft that was built in so many copies, this format is perhaps a tad too compressed. In particular the further developments R.E.9 and R.T.1 are introduced rather abruptly, but then again, the author notes that the available documentation is very confused, so maybe it the reasoning has not been retained.
It is also a bit sad that the different engine configurations do not get enough picture space. The rigging scheme does not come across well in the pictures either.
