1st Edition.
Much has been written (and said) of Don Bennett and the accolades he received with the Pathfinder force and this book is imo one of the best. A S Jackson covers everything in detail. Jackson, near the end of the book, comments briefly on Bennett's exploits as a car maker with his Fairthorpe marque. But that's all. Yet Bennett ran for nearly 30 years Fairthorpe Ltd, the British sports car company he founded - this was a serious gap in Bennett's story that needed filling.
There is a book that covers this missing gap, all of it! Not nearly so well known as the Pathfinder books.
But what it does is fill the missing link in this incredible man's story.
