Condition: Very good, with some edge wear abd slight foxing.
This book lives up to my expectations of this excellent author. I read the Jimmy Rawnsley and Robert Wright book several times when young and impressionable and rightly assumed that this would provide much background and detail than was possible in that other brilliant book.
The book is typical of its kind insofar as it has all the content that prompted me to read it in the first place, and a lot of other information that will doubtless be of interest to others. This other information covers the post 'night fighter' era, however you cannot crticise a book that gives you more than you wanted, providing everything else is there!
Not a good book if you are looking for any consistent political clear thinking in the defence sector in the UK over the past 90+ years - just the occasional vital decision when it really mattered (for which we are grateful) and others that cost lives and money. (Amazon review).
