I knew practically nothing about what happened on The isle's of Scilly 1939-45, but "My Island War, Reflections of a Wren", by Margaret Williams certainly changed that. Also, the only military picture l have seen from the war years, before I read it this book, was of British Soldiers helping to pick flowers. So, for me personally, a very interesting book.
