The bland title does not do justice to this superb monograph .it sets out a cradle to grave account of the unlovely "westland lysander" in clear text and sharp b/w photographs. there was a time when most aviation books were set out like this but,sadly no more.each chapter is devoted to an aspect of lysander operations throughout ww2.the author is under no illusions regarding his "star" saying that more lysanders were probably lost by accident rather than flack. if you are a keen buff of the more esoteric kind of aircraft give this one a go. i would have loved this as a present some years ago.
