Review from buyer:
"I have a passion for ww2 aircraft and the Lancaster, along with the Spitfire has to be my absolute favourite. This book is difficult to get hold of and is a must have book for anyone remotely interested in the good old Lanc. It is crammed full of photographs and history, is well researched and tells the complete story of the Lancaster Bomber from its inception as the Manchester through several marks to its eventual decommissioning in the 1950s to 60s depending on the country it was serving.
Well researched and written this is an excellent book for the casually interested to the model maker wanting to learn more about the aircraft. Some of the photographs are very rare and are invaluable for the model maker wanting to add that extra bit of realism to a scene.
I cannot recommend this book more highly, it's certainly the best book I have on this wonderful aircraft."
