An incredible reference book, with facimilies of original letters and documents of the time, and many, many photographs taken at the time. More than you'll ever need, probably. Arranged by country, and within countries, by aeromanufacturer. So there are a lot of never heard of airplane s described and B&W photographs. Not a military operational book, more a manufacturer 's historical reference on airplane development during WW1. (Amazon review)
