The story of the brave groups and individuals who opposed Hitler and the National Socialist Party apparatus. It tells of their heroic, but largely ineffective, efforts to rid themselves of the most evil regime in modern times. Sadly, by the time that the Third Reich met its end, most of those who had defied it were dead, having been arrested, imprisoned and executed in the most barbaric manner.
