A monograph on two little-known secret weapons of the Luftwaffe. The Hs 293 was used against Allied shipping & naval forces in the latter stages of WWII, & the lesser-known Fritz X, whilst achieving some successes, might have dealt considerably more havoc had the Allies not enjoyed nearly total air-superiority. This monograph charts the development of these incredibly advanced guided missiles which were the true precursors of today's "smart" bombs
