This is one of the finest books ever on the Air Force during World War II. It shows how men that are fighting, can take what the requirements are, take what they have been given, and modify the equipment and make it work. I bought this new many years ago, and in all my moves it was lost. I have it again, but I will not lose it this time. If you read about WWII, then you have got to get this book! A gem in the rough!
Contains many detailed inserts from a previous owner.
