Roland Beamont was one of the most experienced test pilots of all time, and he had the wonderful ability to write eloquently about his experiences. This book concentrates on the Lightning, and Beamont's enthusiasm is contageous, as in all his books.
A very good read as well as being very informative. (Amazon review)
