1st Edition.
From the first day of the Second World War to the last, pilots from Derbyshire were active, fighting the Germans over France during the Phoney War, and flying in the Battle of Britain and the Western Desert. They fought over Greece, Sicily, Malta and Italy as well as against the Japanese over the Timor Sea. Through bad times and goods, they made a world-wide contribution to the inevitable and final defeat of the Axis.
