Regarding Continental maps in general: a product of the Continental tyre company, distributed as series road maps during the early days of motorized transport in Germany. All the major fuel suppliers and, to some extent, automotive suppliers began selling their road maps, some before World War I and increasingly afterward. The Continental map program was quite extensive. Very high quality.
