I am an artist specializing in early American maritime paintings. I own 15-20 books on the subject. This is one of the finest I have ever seen. The paintings within are amazing for the detail and clarity. They are an inspiration for my artwork which is Acrylic, Pen & Ink. Also, the narrative is fascinating and very comprehensive.
