I liked this book as it was written by a pilot in the Royal Air Force during the second world war. There aren't many more accurate
descriptions than this first hand account written by a pilot called George Barclay, who later was to lose his own life.
I would recommend reading this book as it will tell you how it was for those brave heroes, and for us to be able to read it now is somthing of a priveledge.
Foreword by Marshal of The Royal Air Force Sir John Grandy GCB, KBE, DSO
