A very useful reference book for those interested in where airfields were in WW1 and WWII, as well as what each was used for, along with what is left of those that were closed down and turned back into farmland or used as industrial estates etc.
This book is one of several that should be on the shelves of those who want to find out about airfield archaeology, although there are books specifically about military airfield buildings that should also be used with the Action Stations books.
