A S Jackson covers everything in detail. Jackson, near the end of the book, comments briefly on Bennett's exploits as a car maker with his Fairthorpe marque. But that's all. Yet Bennett ran for nearly 30 years Fairthorpe Ltd, the British sports car company he founded - this was a serious gap in Bennett's story that needed filling.

There is a book that covers this missing gap, all of it!
