Before the Hellcats, Corsairs, and Mustangs, this aircraft helped hold the line in the CBI theater. It was very successful in China, fighting with Chiang's forces. It performed invaluable services in the MTO theater. By the latter half of the war, this fighter aircraft had been over shadowed by the new fighters. But its accomplishments could never be tarnished or forgotten by its pilots. This book is worth buying for the photographs alone.
